The artist explores his immediate surroundings in a fashion that is meant to be unconditionally experimental, poetic, and very personal at the same time. Photographic explorations took place in various urban, rural, and industrial environments in Greece and employing miscellaneous tactics – from infra-red film/filters to out of focus shots and multiple exposure. Negatives and silver prints are developed employing all sorts of standard and non-standard chemical and photo-printing processes. Emphasis is generally given on high contrast, rough-hewn grain, and on foregrounding the materiality of the overall process.
