Malfunctions explores sounds generated by malfunctioning mechanical and electronic appliances and primarily concerns the homonymous studio album, released by Agxivatein label (Athens GR, 2010). Despite its limited exposure, the album has been met well by the international community and critics.
According to Anti-gravity-bunny blog, “fucking turn it UP and you just have one of the best noise albums of the year” while Auxilary Out suggests that “Koutsomichalis is a fantastically adept noise artist; he knows how to sculpt/carve/whatever with pure noise and make it compelling. That’s not something I can say about many people“.
You can download/stream the album in its entirety at Internet Archive or Bandcamp.
