‘3 Studies for environmental recordings, VCS3 and studio response’ draws on environmental recordings of various urban, rural, and subaquatic environments, abstract audio synthesis performed with an EMS VCS3, and the creative use of the studio as an acoustic filter: composed audio has been reproduced and re-recorded in the studio a number of times to capture its particular acoustic characteristics.
